Friendship

My friends are actually amazing.

I was talking to Alice on the phone yesterday, wishing her a happy birthday when she suddenly started crying.

I asked what was wrong and she was crying at the fact that so many people left her messages and sent her texts wishing her a happy birthday. She said through her tears that she was so grateful for everyone in her life and that she was happier than she'd ever been.

This then got me started, I almost ended up crying myself.

I've never heard anyone so genuinely , whole heartedly express how happy they are to have people in their life that love and care for them.

It got me thinking about how much I respect and love the people in my life and that I don't express how grateful I am for them being there.

Along with my new healthy resolution comes another. I will tell people how grateful I am the I met them and that they've affected me like they have.
